Istintività, passionalità e visceralità guidano costantemente il suo lavoro di ricerca e la realizzazione delle immagini. L’attimo dello scatto è in lei pura emozione da vivere, col fiato sospeso, identificandosi e fondendosi con l’immagine, per restituirla, allo sguardo di chi osserva, satura di senso. Del resto ciò traspare dalle sue stesse parole:
“Nel viaggio, la fotografia scopre e raffina la mia visione interiore che cambia come io cambio; si evolve come io mi evolvo sia come essere umano sia come fotografa. Io cerco di non dimenticare mai, il potere che un’immagine ha di evocare emozioni, portare cambiamenti, ispirarci a muoverci nella vita in maniera diversa. Questo e’ cio’ che mi fa essere sempre onesta con me stessa. Trovare e cercare di esprimere la mia visione interiore al mondo esterno, e’ per me  “ il viaggio” che intraprendo ad ogni scatto.”

Nuccia is an instinctive photographer. Passion and viscerality are the constant driving forces behind her photography. The moment of the shot is pure emotion to be lived with bathed breath, she makes it her own by identifying, merging with the stilled fragment of life, returning it to us and revealing something of herself in the captured image.
“In the journey, photography uncovers and hones my inner vision which changes as I change; it evolves as I evolve both as photographer and as human being. I try to not forget, the power which an image has, to evoke emotions, bring changes, inspire us to live our life differently. This is what keeps me honest with myself. Finding and trying to express my inner vision to the outer world is “The Journey”.
